2nd Annual JCC Chili/Cinnamon Roll Cook Off

The second annual chili cook-off was again a success. We had over 20 chilies, several cinnamon rolls and corn breads to sample. We had approximately 90 people in attendance. After testing the chilies and cinnamon rolls, the prize for the best red chili went to Tyler Hice. The prize for the best green chili went to Trinidad Hernandez. The best cinnamon rolls were judged to be those of Harriet Gibson. First place chilies and cinnamon rolls were awarded gift certificates from Texas Road House, Albertos and Johnson's Corner Restaurant. Lisa Moxon won the bean jar contest by guessing the closets number of beans in the jar. Thanks again to all who attended and enjoyed good food and fellowship.
