Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 packages (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 package (9 oz.) whipped topping
3/4 c. sugar
1 package (6 oz.) strawberry jell-o
1 package (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained

Stir together pretzels, margarine and ½ c. sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9 x 13 glass dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

Combine cream cheese and ¾ c. sugar. Mix well. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Chill.

Prepare Jell-o per instructions. Stir in strawberries and pineapple. Chill until almost set. (Very important, don’t rush that step.) Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill until firm, approximately 2 hours.
