JOURNEY
STUDENTS

Journey Students exists to partner with parents in the spiritual growth of their middle and high school students. Our programming is divided into multiple segments. FUSION is our weekly youth group that meets on Wednesday evenings. CORE is our periodic Bible study class on Sunday mornings. Our students are also encouraged to attend one of our summer events at Camp Como or Christ in Youth (CIY).

Fusion

Wednesdays 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Fusion is a high energy opportunity for middle and high school students to express their love to God through worship, and to be recharged through fellowship and reading the Word of God.

We begin at 6:00 p.m. with a time to hang out and grab some food. Pizza is on sale for $1.00 per slice. We get things going at 6:30 with a game or two, some worship, and a message. At 7:30 we head to small groups which are age and gender specific. Small groups wrap up no later than 8:15pm and all students need to be picked up by 8:30.

A major component of the teaching strategy of Fusion is based on the award-winning book, 7 Checkpoints by Andy Stanley and Stuart Hall. It's an intentional, systematic approach to discipleship focused on the content of discipleship. These seven student-specific principles are the irreducible minimum.

We are convinced that every student should understand and embrace these seven fundamental principles before they leave the safety of their homes and youth ministries.

Core

Sunday 9:15 AM - 10:00 AM

Core is a Sunday morning Bible study for students in middle school and high school . Core meets from 9:15 until about 10:00 in the Community Room. The purpose of Core is to help students dig deeper into God's Word, and learn the tools they need to study The Bible on their own.

Camp Como

Camp Como is our summer event for middle school students in Como, Colorado. It is a week long camp that will challenge campers to begin a relationship with God or to go deeper in their relationship with Him. Activities include an outdoor climbing tower, mountain biking, ropes courses, zip lining, outdoor basketball, outdoor volleyball and other great adventure programming. Every evening, you will enjoy a live, contemporary band and great speakers leading worship services about today's topics...all Biblically based. Oh, and afterwards, remember there's a campfire and S'mores! Relationships that are built here with friends and God are unforgettable and lifelong.

CIY (Christ in Youth)

Located on college campuses across the nation, Move provides a program for 30,000 high school students every summer. Students are challenged through intense, interactive worship, dynamic preaching, small group study and community building. This conference is committed to helping students take their mountaintop experiences beyond the event by challenging them to become Kingdom workers. To encourage that commitment, each student has the opportunity to open a Kingdom worker card on the last day of MOVE. On that card is a challenge to complete something over the next year, no matter how difficult the task.
