Serve day is a special day created to draw a focus back to serving those outside the church. Often we miss the great needs around us to be a blessing and a light to those who need it. On July 15th we will be having a special morning service from 10 AM - 12 PM Noon just to serve people. Instead of our regular service we will be doing different service projects and collecting items to serve people. Then at 6 PM that evening we will be having a special celebration service to thank God for allowing us to serve those in need on His behalf.
Below is a list of the items and things we are looking to collect for our Serve day on Sunday, July 15th. Feel free to bring the items the day of the 15th or anytime during the week work week to Journey.
Food Supply:
- Fruit Snacks
- 3 oz Raman Noodles
- Granola Bars
- 1.5 oz Oatmeal Packets
- 24 oz canned spaghetti sauce
- 6 oz box Mac and Cheese
- 5 oz can tuna
- 18 oz peanut butter
- 4 oz fruit cups
- 4 oz applesauce
- 15 oz canned vegetables
- 15 oz canned fruit
- 5 oz canned chicken
- 7.5 oz spaghetti o’s
- 15oz canned ravioli
- 1 LB box pasta
- 16oz box spaghetti noodles
- 5 LB bag of flour
- 4 LB bag of sugar
- 1 LB bag of powdered sugar
- 16 oz vegetable oil
- 1 LB salt
- 2oz pepper
- 1 LB brown sugar
- 1 LB white rice
- 16 oz white vinegar
- 1 LB baking soda
- 8.1 oz baking powder
School Supply:
- 3x5 index cards
- Reams of copy paper
- Reams of lined paper
- Box of markers
- Box of #2 pencils
- Scotch tape
- Backpacks
- Rulers
- Expo markers
- Colored pencils
- Boxes of crayons
- Glue sticks and glue bottles
