BETHEL CHRISTIAN CHURCH (JOURNEY CHURCH PLANT) – ELDORET, KENYA
Dear Pastor Arron, the Journey Christian Church Mission Team, Elder Robert Russow, and our beloved ministry family,
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
Praise God! We pray that each one of you is experiencing God's faithfulness and abundant grace. We continually thank the Lord for your lives, your prayers, your encouragement, and your generous partnership in advancing His Kingdom. Your love for the work of God in Kenya continues to bear lasting fruit.
By the grace of God, Bethel Christian Church (Journey Church Plant) in Eldoret is doing very well. We have witnessed the mighty hand of God in many wonderful ways, and we remain grateful for His unfailing faithfulness. Every milestone reminds us that this ministry is built upon God's grace and the faithful partnership of people like you.
One of our greatest highlights was our recent Church Anniversary Celebration. It was a tremendous blessing that not only strengthened our congregation spiritually but also enabled us to clear a significant portion of our church debts. We give all the glory to God for His miraculous provision.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to every one of you who prayed, gave, and sacrificed financially to help us rebuild our church sanctuary. Today we are worshipping in a much larger and more spacious iron-sheet church building that accommodates many more people than before. This has become a great blessing to our growing congregation and the surrounding community. Your generosity has created a place where lives are being transformed through the preaching of God's Word.
We are grateful to report that all our ministry departments are doing well. Our children's ministry, youth ministry, discipleship programmes, hospitality team, prayer ministry, and evangelism outreaches continue to grow and serve faithfully. We are seeing people come to Christ, mature in their faith, and become committed disciples. It is truly encouraging to witness lives being changed by the Gospel.
Our hospitality ministry continues to flourish as we seek to demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways. By God's grace, we have also been able to fully support the education of a needy high school student by paying his school fees. Seeing this young person's future secured through Christian compassion is a testimony of what God can accomplish through generous hearts.
The Lord has also placed a new burden upon my heart to reach neglected elderly people within our communities. Many of them are lonely, forgotten, and living without hope. As God provides, we desire to regularly visit them, minister the Gospel, pray with them, and share food and other basic necessities. We believe that every elderly person deserves to experience the love, dignity, and compassion of Christ.
We are equally thankful that our online ministry continues to grow. During Pastor Arron's visit to Kenya, he encouraged us to begin online services, and that vision has continued to bear fruit. Although our livestreams are still limited by the media equipment we currently have, God has been faithful in helping us reach people beyond our local congregation.
We would especially like to thank Elder Robert Russow for blessing us with the iPad that is currently serving as our primary livestream camera. This generous gift has enabled us to continue broadcasting our services despite our limited resources. We kindly ask you to continue praying with us that God will provide a quality camera and additional media equipment so that we can improve our online ministry and reach even more people with the Gospel.
Another major milestone was the successful conclusion of our "7 Days of Glory" prayer gathering. For seven consecutive days, we dedicated five hours each day to seeking the face of God through prayer, worship, repentance, and intercession. It was a powerful season of spiritual renewal. We witnessed God's presence in remarkable ways, experienced fresh revival, and saw many lives strengthened through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
As we reflect on all that God has done, our hearts are filled with gratitude for Journey Christian Church, Pastor Arron, the Mission Team, Elder Robert Russow, and every friend and partner who faithfully stands with us. Your prayers, encouragement, financial support, and love have become part of every testimony we celebrate here in Kenya.
Please know that your investment is producing eternal fruit. Souls are being saved. Families are being restored. Disciples are being equipped. Children are being educated. Communities are hearing the Gospel. The elderly are receiving hope. The Church continues to grow, and God's Kingdom is advancing.
Thank you for believing in us, praying for us, and walking alongside us. We consider it a great honour to labour together with you for the glory of Christ. We continue to pray that the Lord will richly bless each of you, strengthen your families, prosper the work of your hands, and reward your faithfulness abundantly.
Together, we are making an eternal difference.
With sincere gratitude and love in Christ,
Dr. Simon Chepsiror
